Why we publish this guide
Hair Choice Guide helps adults in the United States examine hair-loss treatments, brands and ongoing costs in one place. Our research library, Follicle Atlas, connects treatment claims to published evidence and its limits. We are an editorial publication, not a clinic, pharmacy or medical provider.
How we compare
- Separate care routes. Over-the-counter products, prescription care, cosmetic hair products, devices and procedures are different decisions.
- Check the source. Clinical claims are linked to research, regulators or professional organizations; service details come from provider materials.
- Show the commitment. We distinguish introductory prices from ongoing charges and identify costs that require checkout or consultation.
- Explain the trade-off. Each brand note includes limitations and a question worth asking before paying.
- Make the order clear. The directory starts with over-the-counter routes, then online care, devices and procedures. Readers may sort by brand name. Position is not a clinical ranking or a score.
Coverage and commercial relationships
Our ten-brand directory is a selected starting point, not a complete market survey or a market-share ranking. It currently includes brands without paid relationships. No brand pays for placement and no paid affiliate link is active. If commercial relationships begin, we will identify them near affected links and update our affiliate disclosure.
Review standards
We compare published information and do not claim to have personally used or clinically tested products, commissioned medical review, interviewed patients or verified individual outcomes. Editorial images are illustrations, not patients or treatment results. We correct material errors and date substantive updates. Details were checked October 8, 2026; prices and terms should be verified with each provider before purchase.
